Do you think Michelle Obama's initiative to combat childhood obesity will make a difference?
- Good thing we're thinking about the Children's health on here.... somebody pass me a Diet Coke, I'm feeling too healthy right now.
- Another set of no-bull books about the subject of Diet are "Skinny @!$%#" and "Skinny Bastard" They don't do gimmicks, or try to cheat your way into a new pair of pants. They preach balance, proper timing on eating, and exercise. The name is kind of absurd, but the information and logic is sound.
- You can't stop what starts in the home. You can combat it in school by serving nutritious lunches, encouraging healthy choices, taking sodas out, and promoting physical fitness, but lazy parents breed lazy children. And it's not her job anyway, let evolution weed these people out.
